Here at Bancroft Elementary School we believe every child has the potential to learn and grow, given the right environment. As I begin my tenure as principal, it is important to me that I share my vision for our school. In my vision, I see a school that takes ownership on the topics of empowerment, collaboration and equity. These are principals that have help build Bancroft into a school where students achieve academic excellence and prepare themselves to be productive citizens. We provide our students with the knowledge, life-skills, confidence, respect and environment that will lead to their success. In addition to academic achievement, we stress the development of self-esteem, personal and social responsibility, and respect for individual uniqueness. 

Bancroft Elementary School will see many changes in the upcoming years. It is our job, as educators, to adapt to the changes that occur every day outside our school walls and community boundaries. Only in a school where staff and community work together can we continue to achieve our goal of student learning. I look forward to building strong relationships with all the Bancroft families.
